How to Post Something on LinkedIn on Android

This How.com.vn teaches you how to share your thoughts, articles, photos, videos, and links on LinkedIn when you’re using an Android.

Steps

  1. How.com.vn English: Step 1 Open LinkedIn on your Android.
    It’s the blue and white icon that says “in” inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen or in the app drawer.
  2. How.com.vn English: Step 2 Tap the New Post icon.
    It’s the blue circle with a sheet of paper and pencil at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

    If you copied text or a link from another app, tap and hold the typing area, then tap Paste.
  4. How.com.vn English: Step 4 Add a photo or video to the post (optional).
    Tap the camera icon (either the photo camera or video camera, depending on what you want to post), and then make your selection:
    • If you tapped the video camera, record your video as indicated on the screen to add it to your post.
    • Tap Take a photo to snap a new photo and add it to the post.
    • Tap Select photos from the gallery to open your gallery and select a photo to upload.
  5. How.com.vn English: Step 5 Tap @ to tag someone (optional).
    It’s at the bottom of the new post. Start typing the name of someone you want to tag, then select them from the search results. You can tag more than one person if you wish.
  6. How.com.vn English: Step 6 Tap the gear icon to adjust your privacy settings.
    This is where you can adjust who can see or interact with your post:
    • Share with: Tap Public to allow everyone on LinkedIn to see your post, or Connections to limit the audience to your own immediate network.
    • Comments: Tap Allow comments on this post to let people add their own thoughts, or Disable comments on this post to disallow all comments.
    • Tap the back button when you’re done to return to the post.
  7. How.com.vn English: Step 7 Tap Post.
    This shares your post with the selected audience.
