How to Pause a Google Drive Upload on PC or Mac

Windows

  1. How.com.vn English: Step 1 Click the Backup and Sync icon.
    It's the white cloud with an arrow at the bottom-right corner of the screen (near the clock). This expands a menu.
    • If you don't see the icon, click the upward-pointing arrow in that same area to expand more icons.
  2. How.com.vn English: Step 2 Click ⁝.
    It's at the top-right corner of the Backup and Sync menu.

  3. How.com.vn English: Step 3 Click Pause.
    All active uploads to your Google Drive are now paused.
    • To continue uploading files, repeat this method, but select Resume instead of Pause.
