How to Open a PSD File on iPhone or iPad

This How.com.vn teaches you how to open a PSD file on iPhone or iPad. You can open and edit PSD files using Autodesk Sketchbook, or Photopea Online Editor. [1] You can also open PSD files saved to the Creative Cloud sync folder in Photoshop Mix. However, Photoshop Mix cannot open all layers at once, and it doesn't have the same tools as the desktop version of Photoshop.

Using Autodesk Sketchpad

    The App Store is has a blue icon with a white capital "A". You can open the App Store by tapping it on your homescreen.

    The Search tab is the tab is the icon in the lower-right corner. It has an icon that resembles a magnifying glass. This opens a page with a search bar.

    If the PSD file is saved to a specific folder, tap that folder to view the folder's contents. Otherwise, scroll up and down to view all files in your storage.

    Go to https://www.photopea.com/ in a web browser. You can use any web browser installed on your iPhone or iPad. Safari is the default web browser on iPhone or iPad. It's the app that has an icon that resembles a blue compass.
    • The first time you go to Photopea, a large black information screen displays. Tap the X button in the upper-right corner to exit out of the display screen.

    In order to open PSD or other Creative Cloud files on Adobe mobile apps, you must save them to your Creative Cloud sync folder on your desktop computer.[2] There are three ways to save PSD files to the Creative Cloud sync folder.[3] They are as follows:
    • Open the file in Photoshop on your desktop computer. Click File, and then click Save As. Navigate to the Creative Cloud sync folder and click Save.
    • Go to https://assets.adobe.com/ in a web browser and log in to Adobe Creative Cloud and sign in or sign up for Creative Cloud. Click Files in the left column. Click the "Upload Files" icon in the upper-right corner. It's the icon that has an arrow pointing up to a cloud. Navigate to a PSD file and click on it. Then click Open.
    • Go to https://assets.adobe.com/ in a web browser and log in to Adobe Creative Cloud and sign in or sign up for Creative Cloud. Click Files in the left column. Drag and drop a PSD file from your desktop computer to the list of files.

    • You may get a message that asks if you want to resize the canvas because the image is too large. Tap Cancel if you get this message.
