How to Not Get Tagged on Facebook on an iPhone or iPad

This How.com.vn teaches you how to disable the Facebook feature that prompts users to tag you in photos, as well as how to prevent posts you're tagged in from appearing in your timeline.

Steps

  1. How.com.vn English: Step 1 Open Facebook on your iPhone or iPad.
    It's the blue icon with a white “f” inside. You'll usually find it on the home screen.

    It's at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

    Now nobody will be prompted to tag you in photos by Facebook's facial recognition feature.

    This ensures that if someone does tag you in something, you'll be asked for approval before the tag appears.
