How to Make a Spinning Top

Tops are colorful and mesmerizing toys that are easy to make out of a few spare parts like plastic lids and wood skewers. For a longer-lasting toy, make the top out of metal pieces like washers. If you’re good with wood crafts, create a fancy wood top that you can spin for days without it breaking.

Find a plastic lid and trace it onto a blank piece of paper. A plastic bottle cap or a coffee container lid are a few good options for a top.
