How to Make a Glycerin Moisturizer

Glycerin and lime juice moisturizer is suitable for NIGHT application. It has been and currently is used by many Eastern and Spanish celebrities and many others. Glycerin is a clear sweet liquid that can be purchased from any pharmacy or many other stores.[1] During the colder winter months, skin can become dry and chapped, leading to great discomfort and skin itchiness or irritation. Typically, skin that has not been adequately moisturized usually ages faster than usual and becomes wrinkled or creased. Premature aging is largely due to neglect or absence of skin care. An economical and easy to prepare moisturizer using glycerin and lime juice can be whisked in a few minutes. This preparation can be used on the face, neck, and other areas of the body.

  • Question
What if we mix glycerine and rose water?
    How.com.vn English: Community Answer
    Community Answer
People do that all the time. It dilutes the glycerin too, and to some extent reduces its efficacy. That's why people do it; they want to dilute it.
  • Question
Is this only for people with dry skin, or can anybody use it?
    How.com.vn English: Community Answer
    Community Answer
Any one can use it! It is myth that people with oily skin shouldn't moisturize. Scrubs and other harsh cleansers can strip the oils from the skin and make the skin produce more oil to compensate, so moisturizing can actually be the first step to making your skin less oily.
  • Question
    Can I apply this overnight?
    How.com.vn English: Community Answer
    Community Answer
It should be applied overnight, to prevent dust sticking on the skin.
