Steps
Open Telegram. It's the blue icon with the white paper airplane.- Sign in with your phone number if you aren't logged in already.

Tap the group you want to leave. This opens the group conversation in the app.
Tap the group's name at the top. This opens a drop-down menu from the top.

Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete and Exit. It's the option in red at the bottom of the screen.
