How to Invite Friends to Kik

This How.com.vn teaches you how to invite non-Kik users to join Kik on an iPhone or Android. While there isn't an explicit "Invite your friends to Kik" option in Kik, you can send your Kik code to friends via a text message or social media and have them sign up from there.

On iPhone

Open Kik. Tap the Kik app icon, which resembles the word "Kik" in green text on a white background. This will open your account page if you're logged in.
- If you aren't logged into Kik, tap Log In, enter your login information, and tap Log In to sign into your Kik account before proceeding.
It's in the top-left corner of the screen.
This option is in the middle of the screen. Doing so brings up your Kik code.
It's in the top-right corner of the screen. This prompts a pop-up menu to appear.

Select a share option. You'll do this in the pop-up menu. If you want to send your Kik information to a contact via iMessage, tap Other..., then tap Message in the resulting menu.
- You can also share your Kik code on various social media (e.g., Facebook) by tapping the social media service you want to use.
- To send your Kik information via email, you'll tap Other... and then select your preferred email service.

Send your Kik information. Depending on your selected sharing option, this process will vary; if you're messaging your Kik information, you'll need to select a contact and then tap the "Send" icon, while using social media will require you to tap the "Post" icon.
- Any existing Kik users who see your code will be able to scan your code to add you as a friend.

Have your friends join Kik. Your friends who aren't yet using Kik can join and begin chatting with you by doing the following:
- Download and install Kik from the App Store (iPhone) or the Google Play Store (Android).
- Create a Kik account by tapping Sign Up, filling out the account form, and tapping Sign Up.

- Tap Chat with me on Kik, then allow Kik to open if prompted.
