Scratch is an educational programming tool developed by MIT, mainly aimed at children aged 8–16. Scratch allows individuals to experiment with programming, animation and graphics. Scratchers can even make their own games using this software. To create a project in Scratch, you can visit their website, create an account and begin.    Type Microsoft Store in the search bar and click the Microsoft Store

   Type Scratch 3 in the search bar. The search bar is in the upper-right corner of the screen. This displays a list of apps that match your search.

   Navigate to https://scratch.mit.edu/download on your browser. You can use any web browser to download Scratch.

   • Make sure your device is compatible. Scratch supports Windows 10 or later.

   Choose your operating system. Since you're doing this on Windows, choose Windows among macOS, ChromeOS and Android.

   Scroll down and click Get it from Microsoft. This is a black button with Microsoft's symbol. Clicking on it should open Microsoft.com in a new tab.

   Click Get. Clicking won't directly install it right now, it will just trigger a pop-up asking if you want to open Microsoft Store.

   Navigate to https://scratch.mit.edu/download on your browser. You can use any web browser to download Scratch.

   • Make sure your device is compatible. Scratch supports Windows 10 or later.

   Choose your operating system. Since you're doing this on Windows, choose Windows among macOS, ChromeOS and Android.

   Scroll down and click Direct download. You will find a "Get it from Microsoft" option after "or", Direct download. Click on it.

   • This will open a "Save As" window.

   Choose a download location and click Save. The Scratch application allows you to choose a download location—you can choose any folder to save the application in. After choosing a folder, click Save.

   Click on the downloaded application. You can either click on the application on the bottom bar on your browser itself, or you can open up the folder that you saved the application in and click on it from there.

   • This starts the downloading and installation process. Although this depends on your internet speed and some other factors, the downloading and installation process shouldn't take more than a few minutes.

   Choose whom you want to make Scratch available to. You can either make it available to all users on your computer, or only to you. Choose what you want, and hit Install.

   Click Yes in the User Account Control (UAC) dialog box. Once the installing process is over, in many cases, this dialog box will automatically pop up. You need to choose "Yes" to proceed.

   Click Finish in the "Completing Scratch 3 Setup" pop up. In this pop-up window, the Run Scratch 3 option will automatically be selected. You may choose to unselect it if you want. Then, press Finish.

   • Unless you unselected the "Run Scratch 3" option, this will open Scratch. Scratch may take a few minutes to load completely.

   Choose if you want to share your usage data with Scratch. Read what the page says properly. You might even want to read through the Privacy Policy.
