This How.com.vn teaches you how to insert a textbox into Google Docs. To insert a text box, you'll want to open a Google Doc, click insert, then add a drawing. From there, you can tap on the textbox icon, and drag and drop the cursor to create a textbox.
Steps
- Open Google Docs.
- You can do this by logging into your Google account at https://docs.google.com/.
- Click the rainbow + above “Blank” to start a new document. You can also use an existing document by clicking on one under “Recent Documents”.
- Click on Insert from the top menu. This will open another drop-down menu.
- Select Drawing from the drop-down. A new window will open up.
- Click on + New.
- Click on the T with a square around it. This is the text-box icon. Your cursor will turn into a crosshair if you clicked on it.
- Click on the window and drag to start making a textbox. You can drag it around to adjust the size.
- Let go of your mouse to leave a textbox behind. The outline will turn blue with tiny squares at each corner.
- You can click and drag on the small blue squares to adjust the size even further.
- Click the inside of the square to add text. A blinking cursor will appear inside after you click the box.
- Click Save and Close to finish adding your textbox. It will now appear inside of your Google Doc.
- Double-click on the textbox again if you want to edit it after inserting it.
