  • Question
How much FPS will the game gain?

This depends on your GPU, CPU and RAM, as they are what processes everything.
  • Question
I only find my game in the applications menu. When I right-click, it shows an option of moving it to process, so should I do that then do these steps? I hate that much lag every time.

You can do that and then the steps listed above; however, you should note that the mass majority of AAA, AA and Indie games require a minimum of 8 GB of RAM, i5 processor, and at least a 720 GTX graphics card to run with minimal lag. If you're playing browser-based games, use Firefox; Chrome is known to eat resources just by doing its thing to increase its speed. If you're playing desktop games, set everything to the minimum setting and see if that helps.
  • Question
Do I need to close the app and refresh after doing that?

It's recommended that you do so.

      Tips

      • When you right click the .exe file you may see 'priority' and 'set priority'. Click set priority.
      • Look hard for the .exe file.
      • Real time doesn't always work, sometimes the change is too much you may get an error message such as: "an error occurred unable to set to 'realtime'" or something like that

      Warnings

      • With the increase of many things (maybe 3, 4 or even 5 if you make that many) other processes will be slowed down.
      • With the increase of one thing, something else (unlikely if it's only one) may get slower.
