Depression is one of the most common mental health issues in the world today, even among children and teenagers. In fact, as many as one in 17 children and one in eight teens may have depression.[1] Depression can be very serious and a child affected by it often needs a lot of help. By seeking professional help and treatment and using additional self-care techniques, you can help a depressed child.[2]

Seeking Professional Help and Treatment
