Clinical PsychologistWhen you are in an anxiety provoking situation, your mind wants to problem solve, and think, and worry. What you really need to do is focus on just breathing slow and deep in through the nose. Hold it for three accounts and then breathe out through pursed lips, nice and slow. Practicing deep breathing will calm your system down so that you can do the problem solving you need to do with a clearer mind.
