Quick Tips for Unlocking Super Saiyan God
Start by wishing for Shenron to make you a Super Saiyan God. You'll need 7 Dragon Balls to do this, which can be farmed in Parallel Quests. Then, befriend the mentors Goku, Vegeta, Gohan & Videl, Gotenks, and Pan. Then, you can collect the Super Saiyan God transformation from Beerus on top of Orange Star High School.

Obtain the 7 Dragon Balls. You can get Dragon Balls by defeating Time Patrollers in Parallel Quests (PQs).[1] The most popular PQs for farming Dragon Balls are PQ 4, 7, 19, 23, 34, and 79. This is due to how quickly you can fight a Time Patroller or having an overall low completion time. The exception is PQ 79, which has two Time Patrollers which increases your overall changes for getting a Dragon Ball.- It's best to switch between multiple PQs for farming Dragon Balls, as once you get a Dragon Ball from a PQ it's less likely to drop another one.[2]
Summon Shenron at the Dragon Ball Pedestal. Once you have all 7 Dragon Balls, summon Shenron at the Dragon Ball Pedestal in Conton City.[3]Advertisement
Wish to become a Super Saiyan God. Select the last option on the list, which says I want to become a Super Saiyan God!. At this point, the game will let you know that you need to befriend five instructors: Goku, Vegeta, Gohan & Videl, Gotenks, and Pan. These mentors are unlocked after doing the following:- Goku: Defeat Final Form Mira in the story
- Vegeta: Progress the story past the fight with Frieza
- Gohan & Videl: Pass the Buu saga
- Gotenks: Pass the Buu saga
- Pan: Complete "Time to Train - Whis's Whimsy" and pass the God Class Advancement Test
Max out your friendships with Goku, Vegeta, Gohan & Videl, Gotenks, and Pan. If you've already maxed out these friendships, you can skip to the next step. If you have not, the fastest way to max these friendships is to:- Go to the Tokipedia in the Time Nest. You'll need the Extra Pack 2 DLC to access the Tokipedia.
- Repeat the quest "The Hero Tapion Awakens." Make sure you select the instructor you're trying to max out as your mentor and your partner for the quest. It'll take about 6 runs of this quest to max out a friendship that started at 0%.
Talk to Beerus on the roof of Orange Star High School. Beerus will give you the Super Saiyan God transformation once you've completed maxing out friendship with Goku, Vegeta, Gohan & Videl, Gotenks, and Pan.[4]
