This How.com.vn teaches you how to follow another X (formerly known as Twitter) user's account. You'll see content from the people who you follow in your X Home feed.
Steps
On Mobile
- Open X. It's a black app with a white X icon. If you're logged into X, you'll arrive at the Home page.
- If you aren't logged into X, first enter your email address (or username) and password, then tap Log in.
- Tap the "Explore" button. This is a magnifying glass icon that's either at the bottom of the screen (iPhone) or in the top-right corner of the screen (Android).Advertisement
- Type in a name. It should be the name of a person whose profile you wish to follow. As you type, suggestions will appear below the search bar.
- If at first you don't see the person for whom you're searching, try variations of their name.
- Tap a name below the search bar. If the person for whom you're looking has an X account under the name you searched, it should appear here. Tapping it will take you to their page.
- Tap Follow. It's near the top of the person's X page, right of the profile picture. You should now be following your selected user, meaning that you will see any content they post in the Home tab.
- If you ever see someone whom you wish to follow interacting with another user on X, simply tap their name or profile picture to go to their profile and then tap the Follow button.

On Desktop
- Go to the X website. It's located at https://www.twitter.com/. If you're logged into X already, doing so will open X's Home page.
- If you aren't logged in, click Log in in the top-right corner of the window, enter your username (or email address) and password, and click Log in.
- Click the search bar. It's the white field with "Search Twitter" written in it that's near the top-right corner of the X page.
- Type in a name. It should be the name of a person whose profile you wish to follow. As you type, suggestions will appear below the search bar.
- If at first you don't see the person for whom you're searching, try variations of their name.
- Click a name below the search bar. If the person for whom you're looking has an X account under the name you searched, it should appear here; clicking it will take you to their profile page.
- Click Follow. It's on the right side of the X page, on the same level as the user's "Tweets", "Following", "Followers", and "Likes" tabs. You should now be following your selected X account.
- You can always click a person's profile picture or name to navigate to their account, at which point you can click Follow to begin following them.
