How to Enable Automatic Offload of Apps on iPhone or iPad

This How.com.vn teaches you how to turn on the automatic offloading of apps on the iPhone or iPad. Offloading is a feature that uninstalls the app from your phone but keeps your personal data and documents from the app stored on your phone so if you decide to later reinstall the app you won't lose your progress or work. These features are only available in iOS 11 and later. If you don’t see the options below, you may need to update your version of iOS.

Steps

  1. How.com.vn English: Step 1 Open Settings icon.
It's a gray app with the icon that contains gears and is typically located on your home screen.
