Creating a Friend List

   Navigate to https://www.facebook.com in a web browser. It’s not possible to edit friend lists using the Facebook app, but you’ll be able to do so in a browser like Safari.

   • If you aren’t already signed in to Facebook, enter your account information to do so now.

   Tap Request Desktop Site. It’s in the bottom row of icons. This reloads Facebook to make it appear as though you’re using it on a computer.

   • If you’re using a browser other than Safari, tap its menu or overflow (⁝) and select Request Desktop Site.

   Tap Friend Lists. It’s in left column under the “Explore” header.

   Tap + Create List. It’s near the top of the screen.

   • If the list has no members, you’ll see a screen that says “Welcome to Facebook” instead. To get started, tap Add Friends to List, then use the steps in this method to add friends.

   Add new people to the list. If you don’t want to add a new member at this time, you can skip to the next step. To add a member, type their name into the field at the top-right corner of the screen, then tap the correct person in the search results.
