How to Download a Zip File on Google Photos on Android

This How.com.vn teaches you how to create and download a .Zip file containing all of your Google Photos on an Android phone or tablet.

Steps

  1. How.com.vn English: Step 1 Open a web browser on your Android.

    Navigate to https://www.google.com/takeout. If you’re already logged in, you’ll see your profile photo at the top-right corner of the page. If not, follow the on-screen instructions to sign in now.

    It’s under the “Select data to include” header. These deselects all of the below options.

    Takeout will now create a .Zip file that contains all of your photos. This may take a while if you have a lot of photos.
    • If you choose to deliver the .Zip file to a drive like Google Drive or Dropbox, tap Link account and create archive instead, then follow the prompts to sign into your drive.
  8. How.com.vn English: Step 8 Follow the link in your email.
    Once the photos are zipped, Google will email you a link to the .Zip—even if you chose to store it in a drive. Tap the link to download the file.
