This How.com.vn teaches you how to save an audio message from Facebook Messenger to your computer. Although there used to be a way to save audio messages using a phone or tablet, you can now only do so using a computer. To download the message, you'll need to open the mobile version of Facebook in your computer's web browser and navigate to the audio message, which will then have a menu that contains a download option.

Go to https://m.facebook.com on your computer. The only way to download an audio message from Facebook Messenger is to visit the mobile version of the website on your computer. That sounds strange, but as of September 2021, all other methods for downloading voice messages from Facebook have removed by Facebook.- These steps will not work in your mobile web browser—you have to use a computer.

Click the Messenger icon. It's the white chat bubble icon with a blue lightning bolt at the top-right corner of the page. It's in the blue bar, and not with the rest of the icons, so it can be easy to miss. This opens your message list.- If you don't see this icon or if you get an error, it's likely because you're not on the news feed page. You can't click this icon from someone's profile—not even your own. Click the back-arrow at the top-left, or go back to https://m.facebook.com and don't click any links—you should see the Messenger icon then.
Click the conversation containing the message you want to download. This opens the conversation.
Scroll to the voice message. You'll see a Play button on the message.
Click the three vertical dots on the recording. If you're using Chrome or a Chrome-based browser, you will see an icon of three vertical dots on the right side of the recording. Click that to open the menu.- If you're using a different browser, such as Firefox, right-click the area over the Play button (the triangle) instead.
Click Download or Save Audio As…. The option you see depends on the browser you are using. This allows you to download the voice message to your computer in the MP4 format.- If the download doesn't start automatically, select a saving location and click Save or OK to start.
