It's a hard-drive scanner, and if you ever think you caught some bad software, use the Malwarebytes scanner. I never had a problem letting Malwarebytes "fix" anything that it wants. If Malwarebytes says you have a piece of "bad" software, get rid of it and replace it with a different product.
