This How.com.vn teaches you how to download Snapchat pictures and videos to your phone's camera roll rather than the Memories folder.
Steps
Changing the Download Folder
- Open the Snapchat app. It's the white ghost outline on a yellow background.
- If you aren't already logged in, tap Log In and enter your username (or email address) and password.
- Swipe down on the camera page. Doing so will open your profile page.
- Tap ⚙️. You'll find it in the top right corner of the screen.
- Tap Memories. It's toward the bottom of the "My Account" section.
- Tap Save To. This option is the last option on this page.
- Tap Camera Roll Only. This option will ensure that any snaps you save (including stories) will download straight to your phone's camera roll.Advertisement
Clearing the Memories Folder
- Tap the Back arrow twice. It's in the top left corner of the screen. Doing this will take you back to the Settings page.
- Scroll down and tap Clear Cache. You'll find this in the "Account Actions" section at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Clear Memories Cache. Clearing the cache removes the photos you've saved to the Snapchat Memories folder without removing photos you've saved to your phone.
- Tap Clear. Your Memories folder should now be empty.Advertisement
