How to Disable IPv6 on PC or Mac

This How.com.vn teaches you how to disable the IPv6 protocol for a Windows or macOS network connection.

Windows

  1. How.com.vn English: Step 1 Click the icon menu.
    It's usually at the bottom-left corner of the screen.

    A list of matching results will appear.

    It's in the left column. A list of network connections will appear in the right panel.

    A drop-down menu will appear.

    It's at the bottom of the menu. This opens the Properties window for the current connection.

    You'll find it on the Networking tab, which should have opened by default. You may have to scroll down to find it.

macOS

    IPv6 is now disabled for this connection.
