How to Customize Your Character on Roblox

Roblox lets you customize your outfits with hats, shirts, accessories, and other useless junk at any time from the main menu. You buy new clothes through Tix and Robux, but there is also awesome free stuff that you can wear. No matter your spending style, customizing your character on Roblox is easy.

Navigate to Roblox.com and log in with your email and password.
The menu button appears as three horizontal bars. This brings up the character customization menu, where you can adjust your looks and add all the cool new swag you bought at the stores.

Shirts are the most visible change you can make, and they will all appear in boxes to the right of your character. Select one to equip it.

Customize the rest of your body. You can click on each body part to choose accessories, items, and customization.
- You can only wear a maximum of 3 hats, 1 shirt, 1 pants, 1 face, 2 Arms, 2 Legs, 1 package, and 1 gear at once.
There will be a little gear icon above your character. Select it and choose "Wear" to start rocking your new outfit.

Earn some Robux. If you're a member of the Builder's Club, you earn a certain amount of robux a day. You also earn them in game, and can buy them in bundles from Roblox. This is your currency in the Catalog.
- Builder's club members can sell old shirts, hats, etc. and keep 70% of the profits.

Can I put hair under a 'hat', like headphones?

Yes, you can! Just put on your hair first, then click on the headphone's name in the Avatar Editor. Once you do that, copy the ID of the headphones (the digits are only numbers), and go back to the Avatar Editor. Once you're there, click on the 'Hat' accessories, and at the bottom you should see the word 'Advanced'. Click on it, paste the ID, and boom!

Go into the More tab at the end of the screen and then go into the Inventory section. You will see what you have. Tap on the item you want to put on, then tap on the three dots at the top right of the screen. Click on the Wear button.
