This How.com.vn teaches you how to select a specific part of a song for a TikTok video using an iPhone or iPad. Rather than providing full songs that you can trim to the desired length, TikTok's music library features a variety of shorter clips that contain small portions of original songs. The maximum music video length is 15 seconds, so if you choose a music clip that's longer than that, you can trim it to the desired part of the song you want to keep.
Steps
Open TikTok on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the black square with the white music note inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen.
Tap the plus + icon. It’s at the bottom-center part of the screen.- If it's your first time recording a video, tap both Allow access to camera and Allow access to microphone as prompted before you continue.

Tap Sounds. It's at the top-center part of the screen.
Browse for a song clip. Use the categories to browse, or search for something specific by typing some keywords into the search bar. You can tap any sound in the search results to hear a preview.
Tap the red-and-white checkmark to select the song. This returns you to the camera screen with the song selected.- Each song clip displays its length below its title, such as 00:15, 00:30, 01:00. Some clips begin at the start of the actual song, while others begin elsewhere.

Drag the waveform at the bottom to select a part of the song. It's under the "Drag to adjust sound" header. Drag it so the desired beginning of the song is at the beginning of the waveform. The time will update to show the new beginning of the song. Only the part of the song that you hear looping will appear in the video.
Tap red-and-white checkmark to confirm. It's above the waveform.
Select your recording preferences. If you need to switch between the front and back cameras, tap the camera icon with two arrows at the top of the screen. You can also add effects, toggle on/off Beauty Mode, and more using the icons that run along the right side of the screen.
Tap and hold the red circle to record. TikTok will continue to record as long as you hold down the button. Lift your finger to stop recording when you’re ready.- To record in sections, lift your finger to pause, and then tap and hold the red circle again to finish recording when desired.
