Steps

  1. How.com.vn English: Step 1 Open Slack.
It's the blue, orange, pink, and green icon with an “S” inside. You'll usually find it on the home screen or in the app drawer.

This opens the team's channel list.

  6. How.com.vn English: Step 6 Type a name for the channel.
It should go into the “Channel name” field. Channel names can be up to 22 characters long.[1]
  7. How.com.vn English: Step 7 Type a description of the channel.
This is optional, but can help others understand why the channel exists. This description goes into the “Purpose” field under “Optional.”
  8. How.com.vn English: Step 8 Tap Create.
The channel is now added to your Slack team.
    • To invite someone to the channel, open the channel, tap its name at the top of the screen, then tap Add Someone. Select a user from the list, then tap Done to send an invitation.[2]
