This How.com.vn teaches you how to connect your Lutron Caseta Smart Bridge to an Amazon Alexa unit.
Steps
- Install your Lutron Smart Bridge. If you haven’t yet done so, here’s how to get your Smart Bridge connected:[1]
- Use an Ethernet cable to connect the Smart Bridge to your router.
- Connect the power cable to the Smart Bridge.
- Plug the power cable into a wall outlet.
- Install the Lutron app from the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Play Store (Android).
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to set up your Lutron components.
- Open the Alexa app on your phone or tablet. It’s the blue icon with a white circle and blue chat bubble inside. You should find it on the home screen (iPhone/iPad) or in the app drawer (Android).[2]
- If you haven’t yet set up your Alexa unit, see How to Activate Alexa to do so now.
- Make sure your Alexa unit is connected to the same network as your Lutron products.
Advertisement - Tap the Menu ≡. It’s at the top-left corner of the screen.[3]
- Tap Skills.
- Search for the Caseta and RA2 skill. To do so, type lutron caseta into the search bar at the top of the screen, then select Caseta and RA2 Select from the search results.
- Tap ENABLE.
- Say ″Alexa, discover my devices.″ Alexa will now connect to your Lutron Smart Bridge system.
- Add Caseta Scenes to Alexa (optional). If you’ve created Scenes in the Lutron app, you can add those to Alexa as well. Here’s how:
- Open the menu ≡.
- Tap Smart Home.
- Tap Scenes.
- Tap Discover. In a moment, all Lutron scenes will be available for use with Alexa.
