How to Clean a Toaster Oven

To clean a toaster oven, open it up and dump out the crumbs. Remove the crumb tray and the racks. Wash them at the sink. Roommate put the hot toaster oven tray on top of it, and now there are scorch marks on toaster oven top. It can't be scraped off, it's stained. I've tried baking soda, vinegar, etc., but none work. What can I do?

Try toothpaste, which works really well for soot and scorch marks. Put a thin coat of toothpaste across the scorch, leave for 10 - 20 minutes, then clean off with very hot water.

How to clean toaster oven door that does not detach? Crumbs have accumulated at bottom of door.

Unplug the toaster oven. Lay a large sheet of newspaper or other paper on the countertop. Pick the toaster oven up off the counter it is sitting on. Be sure to hold the toaster with both hands on either side to ensure a good grip; if you are not strong enough to do this, have someone who is do this part. Gently tip it right over onto the newspaper. All the crumbs should fall out onto the paper; tap gently on the back of it to help remove more. The remaining crumbs can be wiped out by hand with a damp cloth.

Clean your oven top, which is black glass, and the inside with regular cleaning spray that has a degreaser. And come back on top of that with Windex to remove streaks and white marks. This will work like a charm.
