How to Clean a Carpet Without a Vacuum

Vacuum cleaners can be loud and obnoxious as well as bulky and difficult to store. Though they can be efficient, they’re not the only way of cleaning. There are other ways that you can keep your carpets and even area rugs free from dirt and debris without having to shell out for a state-of-the-art vacuum.

Even if you were using a vacuum, large chunks of dirt or trash need to be picked up. Get a small trash bag and take the time to bend down and clean up before getting started with any deeper cleaning. This will make your home look cleaner already.
