How to Check Your Chrome Downloads

This How.com.vn teaches you how to view a list of all of the files you've downloaded from Google Chrome. Since file downloads aren't stored locally on mobile devices, you can only view your downloads on the Chrome desktop browser.

Steps

  1. How.com.vn English: Step 1 Open the Google Chrome browser.
    It's the red, green, yellow, and blue circle icon.
  2. How.com.vn English: Step 2 Click ⋮.
    It's in the top-right corner of the browser.
    • A shortcut to open the Downloads page is Ctrl+J (PC) or Shift+ Command+J (Mac).
  3. How.com.vn English: Step 3 Click Downloads.
    This option is near the top-middle of the drop-down menu.
  4. How.com.vn English: Step 4 Review your downloads.
    This page contains a list of all files downloaded between now and the last time you cleared your Chrome Downloads history.
    • You can click the X in the top-right corner of each download box to remove it from your downloads history.

    Files download at the request of the web page you are viewing all the time. Large files simply remain in the "download status" for more time than normal photos and small files, but large images, flash files, etc. may hang in your download notification area for a lot longer, especially if you're not on a fast connection. Most browsers are not configured to alert you to these (page-embedded) types of downloads.
