If you want to change who you see on Tinder, you can change your Discovery Preferences. These settings tell Tinder the type of person you’re looking for so that it can give you possible matches that will suit your taste. Tinder maintains a very specific and short list of preferences, so it’s very easy to change these whenever you like.

    The fourth and last option is for “Gender” preference. Tap it to show you the options. You can set it to “Only Men,” “Only Women,” or “Men and Women.”[2]
