How to Change Your Instagram Password

Resetting a Forgotten Password on Android

Select a reset method. You have three options for resetting:
- Use Username or Email: As long as you have access to the email address associated with your account, you can use this option to receive a password-reset link.

- Log in with Facebook: If your Instagram account is connected to your Facebook account, you can reset your password by logging in with Facebook. Changing a Password If You Know It

This icon is located at the bottom right corner of Instagram.
It'll be three horizontal lines on an iPhone/iPad, and a gear icon on an Android.
It's at the top of the menu.
It's the option with a shield containing a checkmark.
It's the key icon at the top of the menu.
You must properly enter your current password into the "Current password" field before you can create a new one.
Type your new password into the "New password" box, and then into the "New password, again" box.
You'll see one of these options at the top-right corner of the screen. Once your new password is accepted, you can use it to log in to Instagram.
