Many cats seem to be fascinated with computers. Maybe it's the warm place on top of the monitor, the enticing clicking sounds, or maybe it's because this thing is stealing all the attention of the person who should be scratching behind their ears. Because your cat risks harming itself when it plays with your computer, in addition to side tracking you from your work, you should take steps to keep your cat from playing with your computer.

Keep your cat out of your work area at all times. The simplest way to keep your cat away from your computer is to exclude it from your work area completely.
