How to Call Emergency Services on Apple Watch

This How.com.vn teaches you how to call emergency services on the Apple Watch. You can make an emergency call using SOS. In some countries, you may need to select the service you need. You can also add an emergency contact. After you call emergency services, the Apple Watch automatically sends a text message to your emergency contact. Making an Emergency Call

    The side button is the long button on the right side of the Apple Watch.

    This starts a countdown and you will hear an alert. Then the Apple Watch will contact emergency services.[1]

Adding an Emergency Contact

    It's in the bottom right corner of the screen. It has an icon that resembles an asterisk.

    It's in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  4. How.com.vn English: Step 4 Scroll down to Emergency Contacts.
    It's towards the bottom of the Medical ID menu.
  5. How.com.vn English: Step 5 Tap icon next to Add Emergency Contact.
    This opens your contacts.
  6. How.com.vn English: Step 6 Select a contact.
    This person will be your emergency contact.
  7. How.com.vn English: Step 7 Type your relationship to the contact.
    This could be a spouse or parent, etc.
  8. How.com.vn English: Step 8 Tap Done.
    It's in the upper-right corner of the Health app. When you contact emergency services on your Apple Watch, it will send a text message to your emergency contact as soon as you end the call with emergency services.
