This How.com.vn teaches you how to block incoming phone calls from a specific phone number on an Android ZTE phone.

Blocking Calls and Texts from a Phone Number

  1. How.com.vn English: Step 1 Open the Phone app.
    It’s the phone receiver icon that’s usually at the bottom of the home screen.
    • This method will also block incoming text messages from the person you add.
  2. How.com.vn English: Step 2 Tap the ⁝ menu.
    It’s at the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. How.com.vn English: Step 3 Tap Settings.
    It’s the last option in the menu.
  4. How.com.vn English: Step 4 Tap Call blocking.
    It’s near the bottom of the menu.
  5. How.com.vn English: Step 5 Tap ADD A NUMBER.
  6. How.com.vn English: Step 6 Enter the phone number you want to block.
  7. How.com.vn English: Step 7 Tap BLOCK.
    This adds the number to your blocked callers list. You can no longer receive phone calls or text messages from this phone number.
    • To remove a phone number from the list, return to this screen, tap the phone number, then tap UNBLOCK.

Sending All Calls from a Contact to Voicemail

  1. How.com.vn English: Step 1 Tap the All Apps icon button.
    It’s usually at the bottom of the home screen.
    • This method does not block text messages from the selected contact.
    • The person you block using this method can still leave you voicemail.
  2. How.com.vn English: Step 2 Tap Contacts.
    Its icon usually looks like an address book with the outline of a person on it.[1]
  3. How.com.vn English: Step 3 Tap the contact you want to block.
  4. How.com.vn English: Step 4 Tap the ⁝ menu.
    It’s at the top-right corner of the screen.
  5. How.com.vn English: Step 5 Tap All calls to Voicemail.
    Now that you’ve selected this feature, incoming calls from this contact will no longer ring your phone. The person can still leave you voicemail, however.[2]
    • To unblock calls in the future, return to the person’s contact information, tap the menu, then select All calls to Voicemail again to deselect it.
