This How.com.vn teaches you how to use Google Maps on your computer to get directions that don’t include toll roads.
Steps
- Go to https://maps.google.com in a web browser. You can use any web browser, such as Safari or Chrome, to access Google Maps.
- Click the blue arrow. It’s beside the search box at the top-left corner of Maps.Advertisement
- Click Choose starting point or click on the map. It’s the first field in the blue box at the top-left corner of the screen.
- Type an address or click a starting point. This is where you are now, or from where you’ll be leaving.
- Click Choose destination. It’s the second field at the top-left corner of the page.
- Type an address or click a destination. Maps will calculate directions to the destination from your starting point. As of now, this route may include tolls.
- Click the car icon. This chooses driving as your mode of travel.
- Click OPTIONS. It’s at the bottom of the blue box at the top-left corner of maps.
- Check the box next to “Tolls” under the “Avoid” header. If you also want to avoid highways or ferries, you can check those boxes as well.
