Take a little time to learn the road laws of the country you’ll be driving in. Knowing how to drive the car is not the only thing necessary to succeed at driving on the left-hand side. Learn about right-of-way, road signs, and speed limit regulations. Also, find out if there is any laws you need to abide by which may not apply to your home country. For example, in France it is required by law for the driver to wear a luminous jacket at night, and in Germany; a first-aid kit must be carried in the vehicle at all times.
