How to Adjust a Deployment Clasp

Deployment clasps are designed to reduce stress on the leather band of a watch or bracelet. However, they are a bit more complicated than a typical watch buckle. To adjust a deployment clasp, you’ll need to unfold the hinged metal sections and set the length of the band. Slip the end of the leather strap through the leather loop and push down. Grab the end of the leather band without the buckle and slide it through the small leather loop on the other band.
